Footage has emerged online which appears to suggest Neymar merchandise has been removed from Paris Saint-Germain’s official club store.
The 27-year-old left Barcelona in a stunning £200million deal back in 2017, but now could return to his old club after telling the French champions he wants to leave.
The winger did not feature in PSG’s 3-0 victory over Nimes on the weekend – and supporters vented their anger at the player by holding up banners telling the player to ‘get lost’.
It was not just a banner fans held up to make their feelings known, as they started chanting ‘Neymar, hijo da puta’, which translates to ‘Neymar, you son of a b****’.
After the game, Parc des Princes boss Tuchel, as quoted in L’Equipe, said: “It’s tricky. I don’t know what to say. I saw it on my colleagues’ smartphones because I did not hear them (the chants) during the match.
“Can I understand it? Yes and no. He’s still our player, my player, and I protect all my players.
“He’s in my dressing room. I can understand that not everyone has liked what he has said and done.”

Now, it seems the mercurial wide-man’s desired move back to Spain is edging closer after a video emerged online with Neymar’s merchandise nowhere to be seen in the club’s shop.
The clip shows the shop with clear pictures of other star forwards Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani displayed, but no sign of ex-Santos star.
This summer has been dominated by speculation surrounding Neymar’s future – and this was no less evident when Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu went public with his claim that the forward wanted to leave the French capital to return to Spain.
PSG chiefs are well aware of the player’s desire to re-join Barca and it understood their sporting director Eric Abidal is travelling to Paris to try to thrash out an agreement.

Last month, Thomas Tuchel revealed he knew Neymar wanted to leave Paris Saint-Germain before the Copa America.
“I am always disappointed when a player turns up late but it is clear between us, now it is between the club and Neymar,” Tuchel told RMC after his side’s 6-1 pre-season victory over German side Dynamo Dresden on Tuesday.
“I knew he wanted to leave before the Copa America but it is something between the club and player.
“I am the coach, he’s my player. If he is in the locker room, this is my player and I work with him.
