This weekend marked the return of the Premier League after a summer-long hiatus.
But for some sides, their absence from the top flight has been a far more drawn out process.
Norwich City and Aston Villa went down in 2016, so defeats to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur respectively were less than ideal opening fixtures.
But for Sheffield United, it has been 12 long years without a Premier League football bring kicked at Bramall Lane.
The Blades were relegated in 2007 and it has been a long process to get back to this point.
Stints in League One only served to make Billy Sharp’s equalising strike against Bournemouth on Saturday even sweeter.
In fact, United started the 2014/15 season with a 2-1 home defeat to Bristol City in the third tier of English football – testament to how far Chris Wilder and his squad of players have come since then.
But here at talkSPORT.com it got us thinking about how every single Premier League club looked five years ago in comparison to now.
To give you a bit of context, England has just been dumped out of the World Cup in Brazil, Cesc Fabregas was back in the Premier League with Chelsea and Alexis Sanchez had arrived on these shores after completing a move from Barcelona to Arsenal.
Scroll down to see a comparison of all 20 teams in the Premier League from 2014 to 2019 and the drastic changes each side has undertaken.
