Manchester United are keeping tabs on James Maddison as they consider a summer move for the Leicester midfielder – though they’ll face competition from Liverpool and Man City for his signature.

United were keen on Maddison, 22, earlier this year but failed to complete his signing, with the former Coventry and Norwich man understood to be happy at the King Power Stadium.

Maddison has starred since making the step up to Premier League football, scoring seven goals last season and also creating a further seven. He has already recorded two assists in the league this term as Leicester have begun the season undefeated.
