Mesut Ozil believes his Arsenal career is over and fears he has already played his final game for the club, according to reports.
The German playmaker’s Gunners future has been thrown into serious doubt this season over a lack of game time under Unai Emery, with the coach dropping him from each of the past three matchday squads.
Emery said: “I am thinking every time to decide the best players for each match and the best players in the squad to play and to help us.
“When I decided he shouldn’t be in the squad it’s because I think other players deserved it more.”

The 30-year-old’s most recent appearance came when he captained a youthful Arsenal side in the 5-0 Carabao Cup win over Nottingham Forest last month.

The former Real Madrid star was linked with a move away from Arsenal in the summer, but clubs were reportedly unable to afford his high wages.
Earlier this week, reports in Turkey claimed Fenerbahce have opened talks with Arsenal over a loan move for Ozil – but it is thought the Gunners would still be paying a huge chunk of his wages.
Ozil joined Arsenal in a £42.5million deal from Real Madrid in 2013 but his days in north London now appear to be numbered.
